Love is in the air! Why not do something fun and healthy for your loved one with our delicious banana and berry breakfast shake.

This great tasting shake from Dr. Asarch’s book, The Beautiful Skin Diet,  is also good for your skin.

Why is it good for you? Per 8 oz. Serving,  this shake has 236 calories and contains Vitamins A, C and  E. Vit A is critical for the life cycle of skin cells. Without it skin becomes fragile and the onset of wrinkles occurs more rapidly. Vit C and E are amazingly effective anti-oxidants that help protect cell membranes against free radical damage.

The Bottom Line- Improved Skin Tone & Less Wrinkles!

Banana and Berry Breakfast Shake:

1 medium banana

4 frozen strawberries

1/8 cup frozen blueberries

1/8 cup frozen blackberries

1/8 cup plain or vanilla yogurt

1 cup apple juice

1-1 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk or regular skim mik depending on blender size.

1 scoop protein powder of your choice ( I recommend Vanilla Spiruteen.)

Optional Ingredients:

1 tbsp. almonds

1 tbsp. bran flakes

1 tbsp. Aloe Vera Juice

Blend all ingredients well and pour into glass to drink. Thin with water if needed.
