The skin is a living organ, in fact, the largest in our bodies. At the Asarch Center for Dermatology, Laser and Mohs Surgery, we specialize in the understanding of the structure and function of your skin and treatments ranging from topical agents to more sophisticated laser procedures and skin cancer surgeries. Before any procedure is performed, your skin needs to be in its most optimal state. An individualized regimen will be discussed and provided for you to insure your skin is as healthy as possible. Our continuum of care is designed to provide you with comfort before, after and during your procedures.

Dr. Richard Asarch, MD is a Board Certified Dermatologist in Denver, CO. Having successfully performed over 30,000 Mohs Surgeries for the treatment of skin cancer, Dr. Asarch is considered an expert in his field. He specializes in:

Dr. Asarch is Board Certified in Dermatology, Board Certified in Dermatopathology, has completed an extensive fellowship in addition to completing medical school as an MD, an internship and a residency program.
In 2014 The Asarch Dermatology, Laser & Mohs Surgery and DERMAspa welcomed Dr. Adam Asarch. Adam is a board-certified dermatologist and the son of Dr. Richard and Elaine Asarch.
Adam earned his M.D. degree with research honors from Tufts University School of Medicine, and a B.A. degree in international relations from Tufts University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He completed his dermatology residency and a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at the University of Iowa.
A member of local and national dermatologic societies, Adam has authored or co-authored over 25 peer-reviewed articles on dermatology and dermatologic surgery. In addition to seeing patients at the Asarch Center, Adam volunteers at the veteran’s hospital in Denver, staffing and teaching residents in the dermatology clinic.
“Although the years in Boston and Iowa City were enjoyable,” said Adam “My wife, Olivia, and I are native Coloradans and are excited to be back home with our two young daughters.” Adam’s hobbies have centered on the Colorado outdoors and he enjoys sharing these activities with his family.
“As you can imagine, having Adam as part of my practice has already been a very rewarding experience,” said Dr. Richard Asarch. “All of us at the Asarch Center look forward to the opportunity of continuing to care for our patients’ dermatological needs.”
Dr. Laura M. Thomason, MD is a graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and its Dermatology Residency Program. Working alongside Dr. Asarch at the Asarch Dermatology and Laser, she is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and has refined her knowledge and skills over a span of 15 years. Dr. Thomason is well known for her unique combination of warmth and clinical competence. She is respected by patients and colleagues alike but children are her biggest fans.
Dr. Thompson is Board Certified in Dermatology.
