Dr. Asarch Named 2015 Ultherapy Ultra Premier Treatment Provider
- Posted on: Apr 26 2015
Ultherapy is one of the top procedures in both Denver and around the country this year. Dr. Ricard Asarch is proud to be recognized as an Ultherapy Ultra Premeire Provider for both 2014 & 2015.
Ultherapy is the only non-invasive, FDA-approved procedure to tighten and lift skin on the neck and under the chin. Ultherapy uses ultrasound waves, called Ulthera, for cosmetic improvement of the skin, working deep below the surface-without harming the outer layer of skin-for firming, tightening and lifting. In November 2012, the Ulthera® system received FDA approval to non-invasively lift lax tissue on the neck and the beneath the chin.
“For years, we’ve heard about the significant concerns patients have with sagging skin under their chins and on their neck. Now, at the Asarch Center, we have a treatment to address this common issue – Ultherapy. With no downtime and results often achieved in a single session, Ultherapy is the perfect treatment to combat the loss of elasticity in your skin.” -Dr. Asarch
Ultherapy is the only non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses focused ultrasound to stimulate the growth of new collagen deep within the skin. The production of new collagen occurs over time, so results can become more apparent over three to six months. The procedure takes only about an hour for most patients, and there is no downtime.
Improvements include a sleeker, more defined jawline and tighter skin on the neck under the chin. Sagging skin on the cheeks can be tightened and lifted, which in turn can improve folds from the nose to mouth, folds from the mouth to jaw, and drooping corners of the mouth. Tightening of skin on the forehead can reduce the sagging skin on the eyelids and promote a more open, refreshed look in general. Overall improvements in skin texture and evenness of color — as well as strengthening and adding more collagen cushion can be additional benefits.
IS ULTHERAPY RIGHT FOR YOU?
A good candidate for Ultherapy is someone with skin that has some degree of laxity, to the point of looking, and often feeling, less firm. A lowered eyebrow line or sagging skin on the eyelids, for instance, is often the first sign of “maturing” skin. Loose skin under the neck and under the chin signals a patient might be a candidate. Typically, those in their thirties and older who have mild to moderate skin laxity are candidates.
While Ultherapy is not a replacement for a surgical face lift, there are many people who want some lifting but are not ready for surgery, either mentally, physically or financially. There also are younger people who want to “stay ahead of the game” as well as those looking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.
