Facial Blood Vessels
What Are Facial Blood Vessels?
Many patients are bothered by small vascular abnormalities on the face that form from broken capillaries, called telangiectasias. This skin concern is not dangerous but most patients find them unsightly and look for ways to conceal or remove them.
Broken capillaries can be caused by a number of factors, including sun exposure and excess dilation from a source of inflammation or irritation such as rosacea. At the Asarch Center we can clear facial blood vessels using intensed pulsed light. This advanced IPL allows the removal of these vessels without bruising or crusting at the treatment sites.
