Small, easily-removable blood vessels near the skin's surface.
Telangiectasia are small blood vessels that are close to the skin’s surface. Often incorrectly called “broken capillaries” since the vessles are not broken at all. They are most common on the face and more apparent in sun damaged skin.

They represent a cosmetic problem and are easily removed with the ICON Intense Pulsed Light System.
