Basal cell carcinoma is the most common type of cancer in humans. Basal cell carcinoma typically affects people of fair complexion who have had a lot of sun exposure, or repeated episodes of sunburn. Basal Cell Carcinoma can vary in size from a few millimeters to several centimeters in diameter, and although they are very rarely a threat to life, they will continue to grow and destroy surrounding tissue.
